Returns Policy

We offer excellent customer service, and deal with every customer enquiry quickly. It can be very frustrating for customers, if you are not happy with your purchase. Please contact us and we will resolve your problem(s) quickly and efficiently. 

Hosiery and lingerie items are only returnable if unopened for obvious, hygiene reasons. A refund or replacement will not be authorised if returned item(s) are not subject to this policy, and unauthorised returns will be posted back to you. 

If your item is faulty we can of course, help. Faults must be reported to us that are visible at first opening of your item. We cannot accept responsibility for snags, tears, ladders made by the customer when wearing. 

We can resolve faults complaints very quickly without the need of time consuming returns and costly shipping fees. Please send us a image of the fault to email address We can authorise a replacement or refund immediately after image is received (subject to our acceptance that fault is genuine). 

Our returns policy forms part of our terms and conditions, please read this fully. Essexee Legs is compliant with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 Notice. 

There is a “cooling off” period in which to make up your mind if you want the goods or not. This period is 30 days from the receipt of the goods in which you can cancel the contract. 

You do not have to have a reason to cancel – a simple change of mind is enough, but the returned item(s) will only be accepted if unopened due to hygiene reasons, and they must be in a perfect condition for resale, with packaging intact. 

If any items are received faulty we are happy to refund or exchange your goods with a replacement, similar item or refund. 

The item(s) must be returned to us before we can send a replacement, or issue a refund. (Faults can be rectified by sending an image, as explained above). Please be aware that refunds can take up to 30 days to be processed. 

Faults must be notified to us as soon as possible (within 30 days of order) and must be a genuine fault. 

Hosiery and lingerie is delicate; to get the maximum wear please put on slowly and carefully to avoid laddering. We cannot accept responsibility for laddering, snags or tears made by the customer. 

To return the item(s) pack carefully, include your Invoice received from Essexee Legs (if you do not have this please include order number), add a brief note for the reason of return and tell us if you require a refund or replacement, pay the postage costs (use a safe method and obtain a postage receipt, and proof of posting). 

Essexee Legs will not be held liable for the loss of any returned item(s). We recommend that you obtain Proof of Postage and take out adequate parcel insurance to cover against consequential loss by the Post Office. 

On receipt we will issue refund or dispatch replacement as requested. If the return is because of an error on our part or due to a faulty item we will refund the original and return postage. We will deliver any replacement items FREE of charge. 

If the item is a return through your change of mind, original and return postage will not be refunded. 

If you have requested a replacement item and it is no longer in stock we will offer a similar item or offer a refund. 

If you notify us of your intention to return goods and these are not returned, you are still liable to us for the cost of your order.
